House Parents / Catering (full-time)

GLO College of Ministries, Smithton, Tasmania
Do you feel called to have a life changing input into people’s lives? Do you have a burden for working together with a team to disciple, nurture and equip people for Christian service? If so, GLO Ministries is seeking volunteer House Parents for our CrossConnect Course (2017).

The House Parent Role consists of pastoral care, catering (preparing morning tea, lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday), shopping, transporting students and general maintenance etc. This is a volunteer role with accommodation and food provided (Monday to Friday).

The House Parent role is a vital part of the overall discipleship ministry. Since 1975, the CrossConnect course has equipped 510 graduates from over 15 countries. More than 120 of those graduates have gone on to serve in some form of vocational Christian service.
